Rocklin’s Socialist
(Communist )School Systems Dying!
Rocklin rides with the woe
1/3/2010 by Michael Patrick Murphy a
registered "Decline to State" voter.
We had a great run with a nice local public schools with high schools
having an incredible quantity of kids going on to
college. We have a local Christian University now and
Sierra College (JC)
has always been popular, too.
But communism is always the greatest Ponzi
scheme. Like all Ponzi schemes, they seem to go
great in the beginning, a perfect free lunch. But down
the road, dark clouds appear and the systems collapse.
Folks like me remind their neighbors that “I told you
so.” Of course, in 2007, I also
warned them about investing in “insecurities” and that the
economy was going to tank. Nobody listened then either.
No wonder I call folks “sheep, lemmings and ostriches.”
Then I ran for the state assembly to stop the
demopublican bleeding. I refused to take campaign
money from special interests, businesses and even my
political party of which I was registered with at the time.
(I’m now registered DTS (Decline to State, which is
Independent in CA) I would only take up to $150 in campaign
contributions from individuals that lived in District 4. I
promised to represent the people that lived there for the
first time since the state was founded. I had a great
showing and appeared at all the forums where I had a great
reception from the 20-40 or so voters that actually showed
up to most of them. The winning Republican candidate, Ted
Gaines only showed up for one in the primary and none in
the actual election. That’s like applying for a job and not
showing up for the interview. Ted was confident that
constituents would be dumb enough to vote for the “R”
anyway and he was right. Voters are lazy and non-voters,
well.. ?
Now everything “governmental,” including our schools,
are falling apart around us. Nobody has the money.
It’s already been squandered by the Board of Education
and now students are running around like chickens with
their heads cut off trying to get required classes
that have either been cancelled or suspended. What is
a local Republican parent to do?
Students today are up against a much more technically
complicated world, but are less prepared for it than their
parents were even though we threw more money their way
through education. This does not bode well. Already you are
frustrated by defective and dumb corporate American
products and have been buying Chinese stuff to save money.
I’m 54 and am embarrassed by my own generation’s
incompetence. Now, the system is finally running out of
money, at least at the State and Local level—only the Feds
can (legally?) print money to pay their bills. I say let it
fall so we can say we finally learned our own lesson and
begin the business of taking responsibility for educating
our own kids and having a leaner government. Our generation
must first admit that they failed and that they have been
lazy and over-entertained. Are we man or woman enough to do
that?
What
I’m Asking “Joe Public” to do NOW
1. Cut off the Federal Government and make it illegal for
them to print and borrow money. It should only manage the
court system and the defense of the country.
2. Cut off the State Government from borrowing more money.
It must learn to be responsible and live within its means.
3. Prioritize your personal budget around health and
learning, not big TV’s and SUV’s. Choose the best value for
your kids. If you can, and if you want to, help your
neighbors in these areas through personal charity (It’s tax
deductible).
4. Get rid of the communist system fully funded by
Republicans and Democrats. There is no baby in the bath
water. Just end it now. You’ll be surprised at what
goodness can rise from the ashes! Neighbors might get to
know and start helping each other. How cool is that?
If we do these things today, there will be hope for our
great grand children. Your life will be toast, but
you deserve that. It wasn’t morally right for you to borrow
(i.e. steal) from your great grand kids in the first place.
Your going to go without and I’m okay with that. It beats
your going to jail for all the theft you’re responsible
for. Oh, and by the way, quit taking your so-called senior
discounts. Your generation doesnt’ deserve them. Your
income’s not fixed anyway. It’s going down and it’s your
own fault. You trusted the government, the Mutual Funds and
401K’s and IRAs, all Ponzi schemes. Did you not know that
government lies? See “31
lawmakers OK fines over undisclosed gifts.” OR
“Chiang Criticizes Counties over in-home care fraud.”
These items were in today’s news. Imagine the list if I
added all the government crime, fraud, negligence and
bribery for the year. Ah, but you trust government?
If you don’t take care of business now, bubbles will be
bigger, the debt will grow and your grand kids may be
living under a bridge. The greatest poverty level
is among the under 25 age group, not the senior
citizens. Though progress and ingenuity can go
along way, I don’t think it will keep you all out of the
poor house. Remember, if you’re really already upside
down, there’s always bankruptcy.
Then you can start out “clean and fresh” more or less.
You must focus on “The Man in the Mirror” and your own
family. These will be desperate times ahead. Don’t
believe me? Don’t worry, you won’t be alone.
